In a surprise performance, I got to sing with Kentucky Hurricane Saturday at Checks Cafe in Louisville, KY. It’s just the two of them, but you’d think there’s a whole band up there, the way they can play so many instruments. Awesome show!!

Watch for me every Friday night at 7PM Central on CMT’s ‘Can You Duet’. No, I won’t be singing in front of the camera. But I’ll be out in the crowd cheering on the other contestants. Did you see me in the first two episodes? Look closely for my big white hat and my blue UK jacket! Ha!

Saw Josh Turner and two of his co-writers, Shawn Camp and Pat McLoughlin during an acoustic performance at the Mercy Lounge. The show was part of the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival that occurs in Nashville, TN yearly.

On the final taping of ‘Can You Duet’ at the Wildhorse Saloon, I was finally able to get judge Naomi Judd’s autograph. How cool is that?

No, I didn’t make the final cut of Nashville Star. Maybe better luck next year! Still look for me behind the scenes when it airs on NBC in June.
